Academic
AGM
The AGM (annual general meeting) deals with changes in the MESA constitution, words from Presidents, and a new addition this year, a wishlist from the team as to what MESA will be focusing on overall for the coming year.
Town Hall
Town Hall is a forum for management students to discuss past and proposed changes, gather feedback, and suggest focus areas to understand the students' perspective on what MESA should continue focusing on. We also invite DOM and faculty to discuss courses and extracurriculars.
Associate Academy
Throughout the Academic Year, MESA aims to connect students with various companies to boost career development, and hosts both in-office and on-campus networking events, and information sessions with its partners.
Social
Summer Event
A cherished tradition organized by MESA in recent years, offers Management students a unique opportunity to connect with peers, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy the summer weather. This year, we are excited to present the "Management Olympics," featuring a series of game stations, compete within specializations, enjoy food and drinks, and win exciting prizes!
Associate Event
MESAs annual Associate event is an event organised by our most junior members with the purpose of providing the management community with an outlet to destress and build community with one another. The associate event looks different each year, but historically it has consisted of game shows, carnivals and other fun activities.
Management Orientation
The Management Orientation is one of our flagship events at the beginning of the Fall semester, designed to welcome first-year management students to the UTSC community. The event includes a Management alum keynote, as well as activities that encourage team-building and networking. This orientation aims to introduce new students to UTSC’s culture, resources, and community, helping them to make friends and feel part of the vibrant management experience.
De-stressors
A MESA Chill-Out Station is a series of events designed to help students relax and enjoy themselves. Each semester, it will feature stands with different themes and games, providing fun and engaging environments for the community.
